My Story

Where My Technology Journey Began

​

Early in my career I worked in small company in Rocky Mount, NC; Log Cabin Homes; where I assisted the controller with various accounting responsibilities and implemented Exact Software Progression. This role laid the foundation for my expertise in training and process optimization. It was also here that I discovered my passion for leveraging technology to improve business performance.

Over the years, I have cultivated a unique blend of skills and experiences that empower me to seamlessly integrate best practices into your company’s existing culture. Outside of my decade of direct Product Management experience; building products and teams; my resume spans various domains, including:

This diverse background not only equips me with the technical know-how but also instills the empathy needed to create exceptional products and mentor others effectively.

With two decades of experience in technology, I have remained a dedicated learner, earning multiple certifications, including Agile and Pragmatic Marketing. My commitment to continuing education ensures that I stay at the forefront of industry advancements.

I also participate as a Moderator for the Mind the Product Community on Slack and am a course Facilitator for eCornell Product Management certification program.

Why Coaching?

As a manager, I had been told on numerous occasions "your are the best manager I've ever had" by my direct reports.  How many people can say that?!  I was able to achieve this praise from my teams because I believed my role was to guide and support their success.  It is this feedback that has landed me where I am today. My passion is in mentoring & developing others and helping businesses expand. I truly believe it is my purpose and am excited to help you grow.
